The days are long and warm, and each week seems to move a little faster than the last. Clusters have softened, the berries are beginning to reveal who they'll become, and if the season continues on its current course, we'll welcome the first fruit of harvest in early September. The cellar is stirring again. Bins are stacked, presses are ready, and each morning begins with a walk through the vineyard. Before we begin writing the next vintage, we're grateful to share the wines that tell the story of the last.

2024 Marsanne Roussanne For the first time, Roussanne takes the lead, revealing just how beautifully it has found its home at Cowhorn. D'Anjou pear, nectarine, mandarin blossom, and gentle spice unfold across a palate of creamy salinity, vibrant freshness, and remarkable balance.

2024 Orange No two vintages of our Orange wine are ever alike. This year, Roussanne joins Viognier and Marsanne for the first time, bringing floral lift, spice, and greater precision. Tangerine peel, apricot, chamomile, sandalwood, and beeswax lead into fresh, grippy tannins and a beautifully textured finish.

2024 Pinot Noir Our second vintage with Pinot Noir from Johan Vineyard, our sister estate, deepens our understanding of this extraordinary site. Raspberry bramble, wild strawberry, rose hips, rooibos tea, and forest floor are carried on a palate that is vibrant, elegant, and quietly enduring.

2023 Syrah The long, measured 2023 season gave us a Syrah of exceptional poise. Black plum, dark cherry, olive tapenade, white pepper, violets, and cacao unfold across a wine that is energetic, finely structured, and unmistakably Cowhorn.

2022 Sentience Co-fermented with a small amount of Viognier, Sentience is drawn from the vineyard's most expressive parcels. Lavender, sage, wet stone, marionberry, tart cherry, and iron come together in a wine of remarkable depth, precision, and persistence.
