We’re reopening the Cowhorn Applegate tasting room on February 6, and we can’t wait to welcome you back. Opening weekend is an easy, cozy return to the season, with tasting flights alongside award-winning cheeses from Rogue Creamery—good wine, good food, and time to settle in.

As the year unfolds, we have a full calendar of reasons to come spend time with us in Applegate. From wine release celebrations and live local music in the tasting room to monthly dinners and culinary gatherings with guest chefs, each moment is meant to be shared and enjoyed where it feels most natural—down in the cellar, under the oaks, between the vines, and along the river.

Everything we do is guided by place and season, with biodynamic wines and thoughtfully made food at the center. This is just the beginning, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you back again and again at Cowhorn.

For 2026 and beyond, Cowhorn Kitchen has been reimagined by four-time James Beard Best Chef nominee Josh Dorcak of MÄS, a celebrated chef’s counter in Ashland dubbed one of the 50 best restaurants in America by The New York Times.

Under the daily direction of Chef de Cuisine Evan Bolling, Cowhorn Kitchen now offers an evolving daily menu crafted from hyper-seasonal ingredients sourced from around the Rogue Valley and throughout the Pacific Northwest.

 With our new menu comes a new approach to wine pairings. Enjoy your choice of glass pours and full bottles, or let our team pair each course with just the right pour from our selection of 28 biodynamic wines from Cowhorn and our sister vineyard, Johan.

The result is an elevated epicurean experience that remains relaxed, welcoming, and unmistakably rooted in the Rogue. We look forward to serving you soon.
