Three evenings this summer. Fourteen seats each. June, July, and August at The Overlook — the first three experiences of a new seasonal residency with acclaimed chef Josh Dorcak.

After a sold-out riverside weekend at Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge and months of building something together at Cowhorn Kitchen in Jacksonville, it became pretty clear that our next step with Chef Josh Dorcak needed to happen here, at the vineyard itself.
This summer, Josh will take over The Overlook at Cowhorn for three intimate evenings above the vines in the Applegate Valley. Perched high on the estate with sweeping views across the vineyard and mountains beyond, The Overlook feels like the natural home for this next chapter.
Since opening MÄS in 2017, Josh has become one of the most recognized chefs on the West Coast, earning four James Beard nominations along with recognition from The New York Times, Food & Wine, Vogue, Forbes, Eater, and The Oregonian. What has always mattered most to us, though, is the way he cooks: deeply connected to place, wildly thoughtful, and grounded in the ingredients and people around him.
These dinners will center around the Rogue River watershed and the extraordinary farms, ranches, fishermen, and growers that define Oregon in summer. Guests will experience an adventurous multi-course tasting menu paired with wines from both of our biodynamic estates, Cowhorn and Johan, representing more than 30 Oregon-grown varieties across the two vineyards.
As a Cowhorn member, you will receive early access to reservations before we open the residency to the public on Saturday, May 14.
We truly believe these evenings will be special. A table set above the vineyard at golden hour, wines grown just below your feet, and a menu that could only exist here, in this moment, during this season.
We would love to share it with you.
